Vine leaves stuffed with round rice with dill and mint and cooked in a slightly sour sauce. Palirria  was established in 1957 out of a desire to preserve traditional recipes of the Greek cuisine. The family story begins in the kitchen of Mrs. Nota and Mr. Antonis Souliotis on the Greek island of Evia. The couple sold homemade traditional Greek dishes to the island community, and the demand grew. From a small home factory Palirria developed to be one of the largest manufacturers of traditional foods in Greece. Today the company is ranked first in the world’s stuffed vine leaves market, constantly keeping the foundations that drove the initial process. Rolled by hand! To meet the demand, the company continues growing on a regular basis with 5 factories and about 1600 employees.
