Happy Shavuot everyone!
This week, a Shavuot ceremony was held at the President’s Residence in Jerusalem.
For the occasion I designed a cheese platter, with the best cheeses I make.
The event was attended by the Honorable President Reuven Rivlin and his wife Nechama;
Dairy farmers and their children from the “Gaza envelope”, members of the Milk Council and one cheese maker and his wife …
The President congratulated those who did the work, we sang holiday songs, and other dignitaries also delivered greetings.
During the ceremony, Nechama, who grew up in Moshav Herut, talked about the four-cows family barn, and emphasized her mother’s love for cows and livestock.
